Increased Pool and Pass Marks for GSM to 65
From the 1st July 2018, the pool and pass marks for General Skilled Migration Visas (GSM) will be increased from 60 to 65 for the following subclasses:
- Skilled-Independent (Permanent) (Class SI) Subclass 189；
- Skilled-Nominated (Permanent) (Class SN) Subclass 190；
- Skilled-Regional Sponsored (Provisional) (Class SP) Subclass 489；
This means from 1st July 2018, the applicants need to have at least pool and pass mark 65 to apply for EOI in GSM Skill Select system. The applicants with only 60 points will be removed from EOI.
For State Nominated Applications, the applicants will need at least 60 points to apply for.
