GENERAL SKILLED MIGRATION

For graduate students or skilled professionals, without employer sponsors, who want to migrate to Australia by means of the points test system. This is based on their occupations, suitable skills assessment, English language ability, age, qualifications, work experience, and other factors to get invitations to apply for this visa category.

The Skilled Independent visa is a permanent residency visa for individuals with English language ability, qualifications and skills in the Australian migration occupation list. Applicants need to pass a points test (minimum 65 points) through skill select system.

This is a permanent residency visa for individuals who are eligible to be nominated by an Australian State or Territory government to get  5 extra points in the points test through skill select system.

This is a 5 years provisional visa. It is for skilled workers who want to live and work in regional Australia. You must be nominated to apply by a state or territory government agency, or an eligible relative must sponsor you.; have an occupation on a relevant skilled occupation list; have a suitable skills assessment for the occupation; be invited to apply; can get extra 15 points; satisfy the points test. After granted 491 visa for 3 years by living and working in regional Australia, the applicant can apply for the permanent resident if meet the PR visa requirement;

You must hold an eligible visa for at least 3 years, and complied with the conditions of that visa​. Provide notices of assessment issued by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for three income years out of the five years of your eligible visa. There is no minimum income requirement

For international students who recently completed their qualifications in Australia within 6 months to apply for temporary graduate visas to live and work in Australia from 1.5 years to 3 years depending on their qualifications. Applicants need to meet Australian study and English requirements. No Points Test Required. There are two visa streams: Post-Higher Education Work Stream and Post-Vocational Education Work Stream.

EMPLOYER SPONSORED MIGRATION

For companies or organisations unable to find suitable Australian workers in the local market and wanting to sponsor full-time highly skilled foreign workers (from overseas or already in Australia) to work on a temporary or permanent basis. There are temporary visas and permanent visas working in regional areas or in non-regional areas.

Subclass 186 is the permanent employer-sponsored visa program. There are three categories: Direct Entry Stream, Temporary Residence Transition Stream and Labour Agreement Stream.

  • You must have the necessary skills for the job
  • You must be nominated by an Australian employer
  • You must meet our health and character requirements

There are three streams: short-term stream; Medium-term stream; Labour agreement stream.  You must:

  • be nominated for a skilled position by an approved sponsor
  • have the right skills to do the job
  • meet the relevant English language requirements

They are employer-sponsored stream and labour agreement stream. You must:

  • be nominated by an approved work sponsor
  • have an occupation on a relevant skilled occupation list
  • have a suitable skills assessment for the occupation
  • be under 45 years of age
  • meet minimum standards of English language proficiency

BUSINESS SKILLS MIGRATION

For people with business experience and skills who want to establish and manage a new or existing business in Australia, or for people willing to make a designated investment in Australia. The primary applicant must apply to be nominated by a state or territory government, or by Austrade.

This visa will permanently close to new applications from July 2024. Subclass 188A is a 4 years temporary visa for people with business management skills (at least 4 years business experience) want to establish and manage a new or existing business in Australia. Primary applicant must score at least 65 points (pass mark). The type of businesses in Australia can be international trade companies, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets or coffee shops, etc. Two years before PR application, if applicants meet the PR immigration requirements, they can apply for Subclass 888 permanent visa.

This visa will permanently close to new applications from July 2024. For people with investment skills who want to make a designated investment of at least AUD1.5 million in an Australian state or territory government. Primary applicant must score at least 65 points (pass mark). when applicants meet the PR immigration requirements, they can apply for Subclass 888 permanent visa.

This visa will permanently close to new applications from July 2024. SIV for people who are willing to invest at least AUD 5 million into complying significant investments in Australia and maintain significant investments activities for 4 years. The points test does not apply to this stream. There are no restrictions on age, English and business skills. The source of fund must be legally acquired and unencumbered. After 4 years, if applicants meet the investment and living requirements, they can apply for Subclass 888 permanent visa.

FAMILY MIGRATION

For people who can be sponsored by an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen by means of a family relationship: partnership (marriage relationship, de facto relationship, fiancé or fiancée relationship, same sex relationship), child, parent or orphan relative relationship.
